The 4th day we went to Antigua. It was my intention to stay there at a place called the Chosen Children's Home until her paperwork was completed and we could take her home. It didn't quite work that way. The place had changed owners and no longer offered everything the website claimed. It was also a lot more expensive. When the only other family left and I was there alone at night (the staff left at 5pm) with Alaina I decided to go back to Guatemala City. By the way. The Antigua I am referring to is in Guatemala not the island of Antigua. The pictures below were taken at the place we stayed in Antigua which was quite lovely.
