Why?

Today I am asking the question "why". Yesterday I subbed for the school nurse and today I have been busy with getting yesterday's work done. I just got back from running an errand where I ran into an acquaintance. It's a lady I've known for a while and we are friendly though I wouldn't say we are "friends". She took me aside and basically said that another person whom we both know was talking bad about me to others. I was quite surprised at this because I had always thought I had a good rapport with the person who supposedly was now against me. I say against me because I was told "she has something against you" and that she was trying to make trouble for me. I was and am quite shocked. This person has gone out of her way to help us in our adoption process and I don't know why she would be so unkind behind my back when she has been so wonderful in front of me and in front of my husband. The thing that bothers me most of all is that I know the one who told me this has issues with the one she is accusing. I know for a fact that she filed a work place discrimination complaint against her. So, I see why she'd want to get people on her side but honestly. Even if what she said is true why would she tell me this. It hurts my feelings to think this person who has been so kind, whom I would do just about anything for has been so snarky (a word I got from Mrs. Wilt) behind my back. I would think it would hurt any one's feelings so why would you tell some one? The accused in this case cannot do anything to really hurt me (other than my feelings) so if she doesn't like me and thinks ill of me why should I be told about it? Obviously the accused has not seen fit to show me her disrespect why should someone else feel the need to point it out. I have to agree with Mrs. Wilt (though I may put it more bluntly) If you don't have anything nice to say...shut up! So I say again my question today is why. Why would anyone go out of their way to hurt someones' feelings with information they don't need to know?

In other news I am trying my hand at baking bread again. I'll let you know tomorrow how it went.

Wow...sounds just like a typical gossipy two faced Army wife, huh? LOL.
Just let it go Sis.
Honestly, people who really know you will not believe her words. And if they have any brains, they would come to you first to find out the truth.
Don't get yourself caught up in all this. Pray for that woman and pray for those she has been lying to about you, that they will see she is not telling the truth.
There are several baggers at our commissary who like to talk behind my back because I don't give them a big enough tip! LOSERS! LOL. So I don't shop at our commissary unless I desperatly have too.
The baggers are extremely greedy here and fight over $1. I seen that with my own eyes.
I usually give $2 - $3. That's more than enough for a few bags. But they want $5 - $10. Heck, I don't have to give them anything if I don't want too...and they still have to take my groceries out, so they better start being thankful for what they get before they start getting nothing! :)

Make sure you take a picture of your bread for us!

Is is snowing in your area of Germany yet?
Here in Darmstadt we had a dusting about 2 weeks ago, but nothing since. Frost yes...snow, no.

Bless you!

The bread got eaten so there is nothing left to show you. No real snow here. We get a skiff about twice a week but nothing that sticks yet.
