I'm Back

I'm finally out of the hospital after a 16 day stay. It's so good to sleep in my own bed. The surgery was successful and I woke up from surgery in less pain than I went in! lol How often does that happen. Thank you all for all of your prayers and especially for the prayers that went up for Alan. He had to move us while I was in the hospital and had so very much to do that he got little sleep. He was unable to be with me the day of my surgery and it was the first time I've ever gone into surgery alone. I was a bit nervous about it, but then I realized that God was there and I never need truly be alone. I'm off a lot of the medication and so now it hurts a bit, but I am able to walk without pain albeit slowly. I look like I have a zipper up my back. DH suggested I but it on the blog but I have declined to do so. That's more of me than anyone need see. lol So now I am in our new home of Vilseck, Germany. It is a wonderful house, and I will tell more about it as the days go by. Right now I'm off to bed again. Thanks again for all your prayers.

Rebecca, I haven't been visiting blogs too often, so I didn't know about your surgery... I am praying for you now though and look forward to hearing that you are back to feeling wonderful!

Oh Rebecca...how you have been on my mind and in my prayers! I have been so worried about you! I am glad your surgery went well but I am so very sorry you had to go into surgery without Alan there. That was probably very frightening. Please take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. Looking forward to all the news of your new home and community. Love and hugs!!!!!

I have been checking, waiting for news.So glad you are home. WOW, they kept you a long time! I have a zipper to match your..well, two actually. Take it easy. I did too much too soon after my first surgery which caused scar tissue and a second surgery. You don't need that!
PTL, you are home.

Whew, girl. I was starting to worry! So glad to hear from you and to hear the good news. God answered our prayers didn't he,? It was successful! I remember my sis saying she woke up with less pain too. Praise the Lord for medical knowledge! Please take care and don't worry about your house. Just get well.

Sheri, Janie, Rita, and Pam, thank you so much for your prayers for my recovery. I still need them. Jungle Mom, thank you for the advice. I certianly will take it to heart. I do not wish to spend another 16 days in a hospital if at all possible.
