Nothing Much
We didn't do much in the way of tourism with mom today. Alan worked all day and I did 5 loads of laundry, stripped and remade the bed, unloaded the dishwasher, loaded the dishwasher, ran the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the bathroom and took out the recycling. I also made chicken casserole for supper. So now I'm bored. Do you ever feel like you can't do the things you normally do when you have company? Even when it's your mother?

YES! I do know what you mean by not feeling free to do your normal stuff when you have company. Company is great, but I fear of neglecting them or making them not fel welcomed. However, I am learning I don't have to entertain the entire time they are staying with us. They enjoy down time as much as I do. But yes, I certainly know where you're coming from with that thought!
